Privacy policy

This site tells our story. It has no sign-up, no forms and no account, so we collect very little. This page explains exactly what, and why.

01Who we are

This policy covers focuschainlabs.com, the website of FocusChain Labs ("we", "us", "our"), the company that builds Secona.ai. When this policy talks about your information, we are the ones responsible for it.

02What we collect

When you visit the site

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site. It records:

  • the pages you view, how long you stay, and how you reached us (for example, a search engine or a link on another site);
  • your approximate location, at the level of city or country;
  • your device type, browser, operating system, screen size and language.

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser so it can tell one visit from another. We look at this information in aggregate. We do not use it to identify you.

When you write to us

If you email queries@focuschainlabs.com, or call or WhatsApp us, we receive your name, your email address or phone number, and whatever you choose to tell us.

What we don't collect

The site has no forms, no accounts and no payments. We do not ask for, and do not knowingly collect, sensitive personal information such as financial, health or government ID details.

03How we use it

  • To understand the site. Which parts of our story people read, where they stop, and what brings them here.
  • To keep the site working. Spotting broken pages and problems on particular devices or browsers.
  • To reply to you. Answering a message you sent us.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

04Services that process it for us

The site relies on three outside services. Each may process some of your information, including outside India:

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is needed to protect our rights or the safety of others.

05Cookies

The only cookies on this site are the analytics cookies set by Google Analytics. You can block or delete them in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works the same without them.

06Secona.ai

This site links to Secona.ai, our product for real-estate channel partners. Secona.ai has its own privacy policy, which covers the information used inside the product. This policy covers focuschainlabs.com only.

07How long we keep it

Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account, after which Google deletes it. Messages you send us are kept for as long as we need them to reply and to keep a record of the conversation, and then deleted, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.

08Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, and we limit who can see it. No website or email service is completely secure, though, so we cannot guarantee that information sent over the internet will never be intercepted.

09Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may have the right to:

  • ask what personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct it or bring it up to date;
  • ask us to erase it;
  • withdraw any consent you have given us;
  • raise a grievance about how we have handled your information.

To do any of these, email queries@focuschainlabs.com. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may be able to complain to the data protection authority where you live. In India, that is the Data Protection Board of India.

10Children

This site is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their information, write to us and we will delete it.

11Changes to this policy

If what we collect or how we use it changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
